How to get your Telegram chat id

Takes about 30 seconds. Your chat id is a number that tells our bot which chat to deliver your alerts to.

1. Open Telegram and search for @userinfobot, then open it.

2. Tap the blue START button at the bottom of the chat.

3. The bot replies instantly with your details. Copy the number after Id: — that's your chat id. Paste it into the field on the dashboard and save.

Last step — important: also open our alerts bot and tap START once. Telegram only lets bots message people who have started them first.
